接收、使用、发出部件一般在nodelist记录，也经常需要在TaB/RAR记录。

对方回复：不大可能单独打造一个冰箱式的机柜，而需要对机房和机房周围的管道大动干戈。不过他们可以提供另一种水冷方案：把主板、CPU浸泡在冷却液中。对方7月2日（周一）下午左右会来宁波office查看机房和服务器。对方联系方式：曹明明：15867114461

已与技术人员联系。对方电话：18001871911. 由于2u机箱内空间太小，把整个水冷系统放入机箱很难，对方推荐了一款无风扇散热器（被动散热器）。我告诉他可以在机箱外放置冷排或冷却塔，他说可以设计，但要保证服务器不移动。设计需要机箱的CAD图纸，以了解细致的尺寸。需要收取设计费。对方目前无法提供任何的价格、型号、设计的估计。
与对方销售联系，电话：18001871611. 应尽快将CPU和机箱的信息发给对方。正方形CPU因为对方部件有现货，所以制作方便；而长方形CPU的水冷他们从未做过，订制成本会很高。

我的一点意见：
水冷机箱：系统大概率会笨重、脆弱、精细。虽然制冷效果最好，静音效果最好，但组装、维护、运输都很困难，且成本高。运输中一旦系统破损漏水，后果不堪设想。
水冷机柜：货源少，触手可及的供货商大概率是倒爷；从境外买成本也很高。静音、制冷效果差强人意，但一定不及水冷机箱。
机柜里装空调：效果不敢保证。机柜如何与空调配套是个问题。但是货源充足，成本低于前两个选择。

似乎我把问题搞复杂了。一体式水冷是个可以立即尝试的方案。一体式水冷散热器一般是一个冷头加一个散热装置。散热装置一般带风扇，不过这里的风扇噪音比一般风冷小很多，有些一体式风冷甚至可以把噪音控制在36dB以下。其安装方法与一般的CPU风扇相同，CPU FAN供电即可。价格也值得尝试：淘宝上一个一体式水冷在300元以下。淘宝上搜“一体式水冷”就可以有大量结果。一个商家的例子：https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?spm=a230r.1.14.9.48c45ff2a1v0Mi&id=553864284586&cm_id=140105335569ed55e27b&abbucket=19
淘宝货一般是给PC用的，外观华而不实，制冷效果是否能满足服务器一体机要求也尚未清楚。正在联系德熙热传，看看有没有专业的方案。

今后如果一体式水冷感觉合适，也可逐步尝试分体式水冷。

After editing, the screen seems to return to the main screen and I need to click again to get back to see the records editted.

I think, after editing some records, we should show those records in the next screen.

Connection between our internal Serial Number with the part's production SN

Currently we will record the part in nodelist system and will give a part a Serial No. I think we can call this No as ISN(Internal Serial No.). Also most part has its production Serial No. such as ZAD0KTX of ST6000NM015 disk.

After discussed with Xinjie, in order to make parts recording easilly and save labor time, the part's production SN can be recorded in the thread as the part in such as thread of GM55-1, and we appointed that part with the same Part ID in nodelist sysytem, the smallest ISN maps to the first slot in the node/server. e.g., GM55-1 has 24 ST6000NM0115 disks, the ISN start from SFS20170505 and end with SFS20170538, then the SFS2017050 maps to the first disk slot and this disk's production SN can be gain by showpart.

Once one disk failed and replaced, we update the info in Tab or RAR(thread) in order to make the info consistent , Just imagine the smallest ISN may not point to the first slot if the first disk is replaced with another disk bought later than this batch.

nodelist has a tool to show all parts. Each has a record like:

I suggest making some improvements:

1. In the Location field (SFS20160702 for this example), make it to be a link to the page displaying the location. for that example,

This will help us navigating/checking info of the parts.

2. Before the "edit" link, add a "show details" link to give a read-only page for showing detailed info of that part (like the page for showing details of a server/location).

The implementation can be to extend the editParts page (like http://ada.zettadom.com:11580/edit/editParts.php?id=550 ) to get an additional parameter "viewonly=..." which can be 1 or 0 (not set).

For the viewonly parameter:

* If it is 1 (like http://ada.zettadom.com:11580/edit/editP...http://ada.zettadom.com:11580/edit/editParts.php?id=550& ), the "submit" button is not shown. Instead, an "edit" link (like http://ada.zettadom.com:11580/edit/editP...http://ada.zettadom.com:11580/edit/editParts.php?id=550& ) is there.
* If it is 0, it is as it is now.

This will let us refer to that part by links in othe tools like TaB. So the readers can click to check details of a part.

When we click "show parts" for a node, we are supposed to see the following information:

the page title is server name

We should put the SerialNo on one small sticker, and the Model and vendor information on another sticker and attach the two stickers to the component when it's on the shelf.

And then we should record all the information in the table above into the node-list

同时和Xinjie进行了简单讨论，认为还是需要将部件SN号以某种形式和部件结合起来，因为如果一块硬盘坏了如果没有这种联系则会分不清到底是哪个供应商处购买。

Assign S/N to parts

The ID of the parts are assign in the following policy:

An ID for example: SFP20100401

1. The first three digits "SFP" denotes that this part is brought from the market individually.
"SFCB" denotes the part comes from other devices (e.g. the memory modules from a server).
"SFCB" also may indicate that these parts are not for our company. For example, we may borrow some parts from other companies.
SFS denotes it's a Server and SFC says it's a cluster.

2. The next 4 digits denotes the year we got these parts.

3. Then, there are 2 digits indicating the batch we brought these parts. Same parts brought together shares the same batch number. For assigning a batch number, you can find the minimum number not currently used simply by sorting the table with the serial number

4. The last 2 digits indicates the part number in the batch.
In case the last 2 digits are not sufficient for a batch with more than 100 parts, you may create new batch number.
Hopefully, we may not issue 100 batches of purchases during one year.

~~5. for HD's serial number, our serial number is + . Example: say WDS05FN is the SN of one HD and the ID according our rule is SFP20150203, then it will be SFP20150203WDS05FN.~~
