Under Linux, you can add a static ARP entry by add line in /etc/ethers. ( if not exist, crate it)

The format in file like below:

IP MAC ( one line one couple)

e.g.

10.0.0.1 00:8b:8a:4c:25:32

load it by command at below:

Code:
arp -f /etc/ethers

check the result like below:

before

Code:
Address      HWtype    HWaddress           Flags Mask      Iface
10.0.0.1     ether       00:8b:8a:4c:25:32   C               br0

after

Code:
Address      HWtype    HWaddress           Flags Mask        Iface
10.0.0.1     ether      00:8b:8a:4c:25:32   CM               br0

You can see, the Flasgs Mask have been changed from 'C' to 'CM'.
